UltraSearch is a fast file and folder search for NTFS drives. Interestingly, it achieves its high performance not thanks to file index support, but by working directly on the master file table, the results are then combined with the records on the disk and quickly displayed to the user. The search engine itself is highly functional: we can not only provide a specific search term, but also add additional filters on exceptions.

When searching files, the option to freely select the partitions to perform can be useful. In this case (as the search speed is really high) it will basically translate into a clearer presentation of the results and avoidance of duplicates, for example if one of the partitions is used as a data backup. To use the program, enter the password in the top window you want to search for file names after starting it. Using an additional wizard ("Exclude filter") will allow us to create additional scenarios for exceptions that we do not want to include in the search results.

The application contains pretty good instructions and various options to make the program easier to use. These include the ability to automate startup (at system startup), as well as the option to add search functionality to the context menu of the file explorer in Windows (this option is already available at the program installation stage).
