HandBrake (Linux)

HandBrake is a video conversion program. It can convert videos from any video file or DVD, and add subtitles to videos. Features include DVD and video support, chapter selection in DVD movies, detailed video, audio, and image quality adjustment options, subtitle adding option, saving in MP4, AVI, MKV, OGM, and M4V file formats, pre-programmed video features (such as iPod and PSP), background operation, and detailed logging.
