What is Yahoo Translating Proxy and how does it work?

This specially developed software acts as a digital translation bridge between two Yahoo Instant Messenger users. Working in the background like a proxy, the program instantly translates foreign-language text received from the other side into your chosen language.

The system works as follows:

    Instant Translation Bridge: As you type in Turkish or English to the other party, the system automatically processes your message.

    Example Scenario: A user types a message entirely in English; however, thanks to Yahoo Translating Proxy, this message appears directly on the recipient's screen in French.

    User Control: The system remains constantly active and does not interfere with the conversation. To start the translation feature, the user needs to give a specific command from the chat window and manually activate the feature.

What languages ​​are supported in the initial beta version?

The software's initial beta version features cross-translation pools created among the most widely spoken languages ​​globally. Currently, the following language combinations are supported:

    Translation from English: into German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

    Translation targeting the English language: From German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese to English.

    Interlingual Translation: Direct translation from French to German and from German to French is supported.
