Sound Lock allows you to limit the sound output level of your playback. This is done by detecting the loudness of playback and decreasing it to the level you have formerly set. This way you no longer have to be disturbed by the loud action scenes or soundtrack volume going through the roof. To achieve this goal effectively, Sound Lock adjusts the system volume per channel (up to 14 channels), and generates a smooth sound output throughout the playback. It actually turns the volume down during the loud scenes and winds it back up after they finish, so you can continue watching the movie without having to adjust the volume manually every time volume increases over the level of your comfort.
The provided controls of the application allow you to easily set the sound output limit by dragging the bar to the desired level.
