Praat

Praat is a phonetic-weighted open source software for advanced speech analysis and synthesis. The application was created primarily for the scientific community.

In addition to the functions responsible for speech analysis and synthesis, the program also has a graphics processing module for sound charts that can be added as images to scientific presentations. Using a microphone, we record sound files, load them from disk and create them using a tool. The maximum supported file size is 2 GB, the maximum audio duration is 3 hours. It can work with Praat mono and stereo sound.
