OkMap is a cartographic software and GPS software for Windows.
  Main functions include: downloading free maps from map servers, digital georeference maps, creating custom maps for use with your GPS or mobile device, creating tracks on the map by generating track statistics and track graphs, a navigation system based on offline maps or access to navigation tools such as Compass and web maps with many other features.  Useful for professional activities in the field, outdoor sports and your enjoyment in nature (search and rescue, trekking, mountain biking, 4WD, geocaching and much more).


 OkMap is interactive software that allows you to work on web maps or digital maps you have purchased or scanned on your computer screen.  OkMap can also import vector data and elevation DEM data from the most common formats.

  Through these maps, you can organize your routes by creating waypoints, routes and tracks on your computer monitor and upload this data to your GPS.  OkMap automatically adjusts elevation data and estimates travel times.  Additionally, OkMap also provides you with automatic routing and geocoding functions.

  The data collected by your GPS can be downloaded to your computer, stored and displayed on maps.  They can also be used to create different types of statistics.

  By connecting a GPS to your laptop, you can plot your location on maps in real time.  If you're connected to the network, you can constantly send your location to a remote computer or retrieve your friends' location from your computer and view relevant tracks on maps in real time.

  OkMap can also interface between Google Maps and Google Earth.  With Google Maps you can view the maps and data you are interested in.  You can also view your roads and maps in 3D with Google Earth.
