LZDoom

LZDoom is a fork of the GZDoom engine, one of the most popular ways to play classic games like Doom, Doom 2, and Ultimate Doom on modern PCs. Its primary goal is to make this legendary gaming experience accessible to everyone by supporting older, low-end PCs.


Key Difference: Low Hardware Support

The key feature that distinguishes LZDoom from GZDoom is its support for OpenGL 2.1. While GZDoom requires at least OpenGL 3.0 (2008 technology), LZDoom only requires a graphics card that supports OpenGL 2.1 (2006 technology) or later. Installation and Operation
