LinX is a free stress testing and benchmark program developed to test the stability and performance limits of computer processors (CPUs).
Developed by Alexander Gusev, this software offers Intel's powerful Linpack Benchmark infrastructure in a user-friendly and simple interface. Key Features and Performance Analysis Feature Description Test Logic It puts maximum load on the processor by repeatedly solving complex linear equation systems. The resulting calculation results are compared; if different results are produced, it indicates an inconsistency/error in the system. GFlops Measurement It measures the raw processing power of the processor by calculating the billions of floating-point operations per second (GFlops). Automatic Error Checking Automatically stops the test if any Hardware Error/Bug Detection occurs during the test. Advanced Configuration 32/64-bit modes, number of threads, memory usage (RAM size), and priority level can be flexibly adjusted. Hardware Support Supports both Intel and AMD processors; fully compatible with HyperThreading technology. Report Integration Allows data/report transfer from hardware monitoring software such as Everest and SpeedFan.
