Icewind Dale 2: Enhanced Edition overhauls over 300 spells and 800+ items, introduces over 110 all-new spells, 170 new spell items, and 30 new features, and features more of IWD2's features, from the wraith Veira to Vrek Vileclaw. He allows many NPCs in the party to join the party, including the river troll Xhaan, the white abishai Zack Boosenburry, and the spider mount Aocha. Even better, IWD2EE has significant quality of life improvements, including faster looting and significantly faster loading times.
This mod also solves major problems many players had with the original Icewind Dale 2: You no longer need to solve boring, cryptic puzzles to complete certain areas, enemies in the Heart of Fury Mod are powered up in interesting ways instead of just having a lot of HP, and the game's In the later stages, you can revise the experience system to avoid getting zero experience when you kill enemies. IWD2EE is fully customizable and can change the player setup to your taste
