Hekapad is a free text editor that you can use as an alternative to the Notepad program included in the Microsoft Windows operating system.

This text editor is lightweight and adds a few excellent features like encryption / decryption that you won't find in Notepad or other similar text editors.

Note: You need at least .NET Framework 4 to run this program - you can download it here.
