CADCraft, completely redesigned by the ArtCraft team using the Rust language, is a professional computer-aided design and technical drawing tool that offers a modern, high-performance, and open-source alternative to traditional and cumbersome CAD software. It combines command-line interface, object snaps, layers, and technical drawing practices with a modern infrastructure.
Key Features and Advantages

    Standard Drawing Workflow: Offers complete command-line input, point selection, direct distance input, object snapping (osnap), polar tracking, ortho mode, grips, and right-click repeat features.

    Extensive File Format Support: Reads and writes DXF files (in ASCII and binary formats, versions R12–2018), opens DWG files (versions R13–2018); also provides output to PDF, SVG, and PNG formats.

    Paper Space and Viewports: Layout pages with floating viewports allow for window-based layer overrides, page adjustments, and precisely scaled plotting/output capabilities.

    Relational Dimensions: Includes linear, aligned, angular, and radial dimensions that update based on geometry, as well as multileaders, tables, and custom drawing fonts.

    Hatching and Block Libraries: Includes point-selective hatching with islands, pattern fills, qualified block definitions, and nested block structures.

    Parametric Constraints: Provides geometric and dimensional constraints with expression parameters that are automatically re-resolved as modifications are made.
