No one knew where they came from or where they were going to return. But one thing they knew for sure was that horses were proud, brave and worthy of respect. The villagers gathered for a race, each horse chose its own rider. As soon as they got on the horse, every rider felt free, invincible.
And then tragedy struck: the village and its environs caught fire, the flames became unstoppable. Wildshade horses never returned. The village was rebuilt and the people returned, the landscape improved, but there was no trace of the horses.
The people in the village held horse races in memory of those beautiful wild animals, trying to recapture those magical moments of the past when the horses appeared and the wild race began.
