Live Caption and Audio Notifications using Google's modern automatic speech recognition and voice detection technology; provides free, real-time transcriptions of your conversations and sends notifications based on home voices. Notifications keep you informed of important events in the home, such as a fire alarm or doorbell ringing, so you can take timely action.
On most phones, you can directly access the Live Caption and Audio Notifications app with these steps:
1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Tap Accessibility, then tap Live Caption or Sound Notifications depending on the app you want to launch.
3. Tap Use service and accept permissions.
4. Use the Accessibility button or gesture to launch Live Caption or Audio Notifications.
